Hi Everyone,
Jackson has been doing great this last week. He had his blood drawn on Monday, his neutophil counts are back up, but his hemoglobin ( red blood cell counts) are down a little bit. It is not harmful for his reds to be down a little, but his energy level will definitely be affected. This cycle as a reward for his great cooperation during the blood draws, he gets to go to WalMart afterward and pick out some fishing lures. His tackle box, by the time chemo is over, will look quite professional!
Jackson's appetite is still going strong. He has been requesting alot of cold cereals lately and he has moved on to grape juice for the fluid intake. This is great because grape juice has good nutritional value.
Just an update on our little friend TJ. He is out of the PICU, but still remains with a fever. They don't know if it is because of his pneumonia. His mom said that the pneumonia is better, but that he has been vomiting and had bad diarrhea. I am hoping to speak with her again tonight. Hopefully we will get better news. Please keep TJ and the Garcia family in your prayers along with Jackson.

It's wonderful to read about Jackson's continued good progress, and fun to follow along with his quirks and cravings. You are such a good Mom, Jenice! Let the Garcia's know that TJ has people praying for him, and keep us posted when you can with little updates on his progress along with Jackson's. So many family's dealing with so much. I am so happy Jack has continued to do so well. Lot's of prayers for him of course (always) and for little TJ. You guys are getting there day by day...you and Warren are such great parents and Jackson is such a fighter! Love you all, Auty
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Jackson is doing so well. Like I have always told you, I feel that if it wasn't for Jackson no telling where TJ would be at today. He has been such a blessing to us. And Janice, I can't thank you enough for being here for me whenever I need someone to talk to. It is so nice to talk to someone who really knows what I'm going through. Thank you for the prayers for TJ, we are constantly praying for the FULL recovery of Jackson also. The Garcia Family
