Jackson's MRI Results

Hi,

Well, I wish I could say that Jackson's MRI results were perfect as before, but there appear to be some "dots" present that neither the oncologist or radiologist can determine. They may be recurrence of his cancer or they could be radiation injury. He will be having a spinal tap tomorrow to help determine what they are. If his spinal tap is positive for cancer cells, then his cancer is back. If the spinal tap is negative, then he can proceed with chemo as planned, and he will have another MRI in 4 weeks to check for growth of these "dots". If they grow, that will tell us that it is most likely cancer, and we have to talk about options with his oncologist. If the spots stay the same, they can most likely be radiation injury. Obviously this is not the news we wanted from his MRI. The waiting and not knowing what it is is SO hard. Please join us in praying for the lesser of the two evils. Please pray for Jackson to continue on his path to a full recovery. I will post as soon as we know the results of his spinal tap. Thank you for all of your support and prayers that have gotten him this far and keep his recovery moving in the right direction.
