Thing are looking up for Jackson today. We have a plan for his treatment. He is being transferred to UCSF on Sunday. Monday or Tuesday they will be doing an angiogram to determine if the blood supply to the tumor can be embelized, or blocked off. If they can embelize, they will do surgery again within a few days to remove the tumor. If the tumor cannot be embelized, they propose doing a high dose of chemo to shrink the tumor and its blood supply, and then do surgery. We are praying that the tumor can be embelized and to remove the mass as quickly as possible. Hopefully, I will be speaking to the neurosurgeon at UCSF before Sunday. We have been told by Dr. Lebby, the neuropsychologist that works here and teaches at UCSF that the radiologists in SF are excellent and that they do angiograms everyday. We have heard very good things about the team at UCSF and that the neurosurgeon and neuro oncologist there are some of the top doctors in the nation regarding their field of expertise. We have high hopes of things going in the right directions.

  1. Grant & I are praying for you both and your son Jackson. He is in very very good hands at UCSF. Speaking from experience. We heard about your crisis on the news and our hearts broke for you. We think of you two often when we think about racing in Santa Maria! You are never far from our thoughts and prayers.
