7/27 @8:30pm

We got back a couple of hours ago from visiting Jackie, Warren and Jenise at the hospital. I have to say, I really hope the three of them can come home soon, if only to get them out of that insane Fresno heat! Jenise-please, no more acclimating, ok!

Both Warren and Jenise are doing well! They seem to of mapped out the maze of hallways the hospital likes to confuse people with. We talked about all the wonderful people who volunteered at the Carwash-BBQ and about the amazing turn out. Words just can't express their gratitude they have to everyone for everything. In addition to the fundraiser we just completed, the Tognazzini family is putting together another fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, August 8th in the Orcutt area. I will find out the specifics for that event and let everyone know ASAP.

Jackie is doing a little better today. Since being back on the dialysis, he has begun to urinate again. Although they're not sure how much longer they will keep him on dialysis, the good news is that they don't believe his kidneys are permanently damaged, they're just not functioning at 100%....in short, his kidneys will get better it's just going to take some time. So for now they're just going to take their time and let the dialysis machines help him out.

Warren took both myself and Brian to visit Jackie individually and I have to say....he looks good! We talked to him a little in hopes that he could hear us and of course, I believe he did (perpetual optimist). I talked to him about he and his cousins playing with nerf guns and cutting down trees together and I got the tiniest little squint of his eyes and some slight finger movement as I held his hand. We just can't wait to see all the cousins playing together again!
