Hi Everyone!

Well, here we are a week after Jackson's 5th chemo treatment and everything is going well. Jackson had blood work today to check all of his counts. His counts are stable, holding just above the thresholds of needing platelets and a blood transfusion. From today on, his counts should be on the way up from here. He will have blood work again on Thursday to confirm this. He amazes me when he goes for his blood draws every time! He is doing it each time like a champ. He unfortunately has gotten used to the pokes. Even with his GCSF shots he gets nightly while his counts are low, he, alot of the times asks me to do it to get it over with! I have a few pictures I would like to share with everyone of Jackson getting his medaport accessed in the clinic for his Vincristine and blood transfusion on Thursday last week just so everyone can see what I see everyday with him. In the pictures they are poking him, the needle by itself, and finally the RN drawing blood with it. He is truly amazing!
One last thing. We have a couple of friends from San Fransico that are fighting battles just like Jackson. TJ Garcia and Sophia Cortez. We have become close with both families throughout our journey. We have all provided support and comfort in one another in ways that no other people could. TJ has had alot of complications in his journey and right now he has some complications that could be life threatening. Sophia is almost half way through her chemotherapy and has an MRI scheduled for tomorrow. We have experienced first hand how scary these times can be so we ask that everyone please include our friends TJ and Sophia in their prayers as well as Jackson. The power of prayer has gotten these three amazing children through their journeys so far, the more prayers the better. We are all so thankful for every one's support and prayers!
