Hi Everyone!

Things have been so crazy lately. Warren and I have been trying to finish painting Jack's room. It is finally done and it looks great! I took alot of time and painted camo on one of his walls. Jackson has been sleeping in our room during all of this. We moved his bed into our room while we completed the project. Soon in a few days he will be getting new carpet also, his last carpet had had it and needed to be replaced!

Anyways, Jackson is doing well. He had blood drawn on Tuesday December 29th and his counts had came back up. His white counts were good and he is not "neutropenic", his red counts were back up to 10.5, and his platelets were back up to 90,000. After his transfusion, his reds were at 8.5 and platelets were at 62,000. So between the 26th and the 29th, Jack's body started producing what he needs to produce. He had his last GCSF injection on the 29th for this first cycle. That is the drug that stimulates white cell production from the bone marrow. Let me tell you, he was happy about not having an injection every night anymore! So, Jack has to go for blood work on January 8th to get ready for cycle 2 of chemotherapy which starts January 11th. I can't believe it is that time again. Day by day it seems to go slow, but month to month it is flying! I will be glad when his 6 months is up and we can get back to normal life. After that, Jackson will be getting ready for kindergarten!

Hope all is well for everyone in the first few days of 2010. Happy New Year!

Jenise
