Jackson has been doing alright even though the radiation is making him pretty sick. Tomorrow should be his last day of full rehab! He has met their expectations of walking unassisted and bending, squatting, and reaching. His balance is still wobbly, but with practice and healing, it should come back completely. Jack will still be here at the hospital until he can hold foods and liquids down and doesn't require IV fluids at night. He has his last two radiation treatments to his whole brain and spine over the next two days and then he will begin the boost to the tumor bed that will take 11 treatments. They anticipate that his nausea and mucousitis will get better during that time. We are hoping that he will be released before Halloween.
