Hi Everyone!

Sorry for the delay in updates. The girls were here with us for the last few days and we have been unbelievably busy!

Jackson is doing well, as you can see from these current pictures. Physical therapy is going well. Jackson is sitting alot on his own. He is beginning to use his stomach muscles to pull himself to a sitting position. He has been doing jigsaw puzzles, painting, and playing with lots of games. His appetite is still going strong, although they have been decreasing his doses of steroids. That has been no fun while weaning him off the steroids and methadone. He can definitely be moody and emotional.

Jackson did his simulation yesterday for his radiation treatments. That went well overall. He does not need to be sedated for his treatments like they originally thought. He sat still for the long simulation, so they are very confident that he can sail through to treatments with no movements also. The treatments apparently only take 5 minutes. He will get his very first treatment tomorrow at 9 am. Jackson will also begin a chemo treatment tomorrow that goes along with the radiation treatments. The treatment is supposed to stop the division and growth of cells. He will get weekly doses during his radiation. Hopefully he will tolerate the radiation well with little side effects.

I will update tomorrow night to let everyone know how radiation went.
