7/21/09: 1:00 pm

Jackson was taken to the E.R. at Marian Hospital on Tuesday 7/14 due to having problems with vertigo, vommiting and continual headaches. A CT scan found a golf ball sized tumor on his brain stem. He was immediately taken to Valley Children's Hospital in Madera, Ca. where he has been hospitalized ever since. Initially, surgery was scheduled for Thursday at 7 a.m. however the surgery was postponed due to issues of his blood not clotting properly. After a few days of eating and feeling a little better, his blood tests came back good and he was scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, 7/21.

As of 1:00 pm, today 7/21, Jackson's surgery is going well. The shunt was inserted earlier this morning to drain the fluid on his brain and as expected, he did great. The next step they're working on is removing the tumor from his brain stem. As soon as updates are available I will add them.

Thank you to everyone who has sent their thoughts and prayers to Jackson, Warren and Jenise as well as the rest of their family and friends!

Feel free to add any info, questions or concerns for Jackson or his family.
